What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN - Director of Emergency Department INTERIM position at Forrest City?
The E.D. Nurse Manager assumes responsibility and accountability for the direction and coordination of patient care management in the Emergency Department. The direction shall be in a manner reflective of the hospital’s philosophy, strategic plan, mission and vision, and the medical plan of treatment and care. The E.D. Nurse Manager shall serve as a liaison between the hospital administrative team and staff. In addition to the management role of this employee, they will also function as a Staff Nurse in the Emergency Department. In this role, the Registered Nurse is responsible for planning, directing, providing, and documenting nursing care in correlation with the Nursing Process and in accordance with Arkansas Nurse Practice Acts, Forrest City Medical Center policy/procedures, physician orders, Forrest City Medical Center philosophy, goals, and mission.
