About the Company - The President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for the overall operations of Forrest Health and oversees efficient and effective planning, organizing, control and direction of the Hospitals and related operations. The CEO is responsible for the strategic and financial leadership, planning, development, direction, coordination and control of the hospital and affiliated entities. This leader will :
- Work collaboratively with board members, senior leaders, departmental and medical leadership as well as the Hattiesburg Clinic to ensure quality patient care is delivered in a cost-effective manner.
- Plan and direct the short-and long-range objectives and goals of the organization to meet its financial, quality, patient experience, employee satisfaction, provider satisfaction and engagement and other non-financial goals.
- Ensure synergy between people, processes, strategies and tactics to execute business objectives and goals.
- The CEO will be charged with successfully leading the organization through the ever-changing and increasingly complex healthcare landscape. This will include prudent operational and financial strategies, as well as exploring opportunities to support the organizations prominence in its markets.
- Central to all strategies will be to maintain Forrest's status as an independent health system with local, community-based governance and decision-making control.
