What are the responsibilities and job description for the EDUCATION SUPPORT ASSISTANT position at Forrest Health?
The Education Support Assistant reports directly to the Director of Education. Must be optimistic, decisive, and organized in order to ensure smooth operations of various processes that contribute to the productivity and services of the department. Is responsible for systematic approach to collecting, aggregating, and analyzing data to support decision making processes. Works closely with Director with Procedures and ensures accurate and timely uploading of documents in Document System. Works with Director to ensure master documents are updated at all times and documents ready for Director to present to Medical Executive Committee and Board of Directors. Monitors Kronos for accuracy and appropriate use according to guidelines and policies. Responsible for Document/Form orders and Lawson office supply orders while monitoring and controlling these resources. Coordinate American Red Cross training and maintain paperwork for all of Forrest Health facilities. Maintain and manage school of nursing paperwork. Coordinates office functions. Performs other job duties as assigned. Demonstrates knowledge and skills to appropriately communicate and interact staff.
Performance Expectations
Graduate of a recognized technical college or university with an associate degree in a related field preferred.
Work Experience
Three years of experience in management of medical offices or hospital departments is required.

- Demonstrates ability to manage and upload the required Documents through Taylor Document System.
