What are the responsibilities and job description for the PAINTER position at Forrest Health?
Job Summary:
Performs various painting assignments ensuring methods of application are of high quality. Read and interprets finish schedules from project drawing, demonstrates a general knowledge of painting products and uses proper methods for their application. Performs additional related duties as required to meet project schedules including clear communication with supervisor and assisting co-workers in the construction department (not limited to painting work only, you will be required to help other trades in times of need) . Demonstrates knowledge and skills to appropriately communicate and interact with the patients, families, and visitors of all age groups while being sensitive to their cultural and religious beliefs.
Performance Expectations
- Demonstrates the ability to properly prep and paint walls and trim.
- Demonstrates the ability to properly clean and maintain painting related tools and equipment.
Qualifications:
Education/Skills
High school diploma or equivalent required. 10 years progressive experience on a commercial basis may be a substitute for the required education.
Work Experience:
Work experience preferred.
Certification/Licensure-DUE UPON HIRE
- Valid Drivers License
- Maintain a Good Driving Record
Mental Demands:
Ability to follow directives, cooperates with others, and demonstrates initiative.
