We're currently looking for a motivated and dependable Assembly Laborer to join our dynamic team!
Job Summary:
As an Assembly Laborer at Gallagher Vinyl Products, you’ll play a key role in our production process. This hands-on position involves assembling, organizing, and packaging vinyl fence products in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and committed to maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble vinyl fence sections according to company specifications
- Apply glue and secure picket caps and other components as needed
- Organize fence parts by job order, ensuring all items are prepared accurately for packaging
- Wrap, secure, and stack completed products for safe storage and shipment
- Inspect products for quality; report any defects or inconsistencies
- Operate machinery and power tools safely and responsibly
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain workflow
Requirements:
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, measuring)
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and job orders
- Strong attention to detail and ability to keep a clean, organized work area
- Physically able to lift and handle materials weighing 50 pounds
- Comfortable working with vinyl, power tools, and machinery
- Positive attitude and a team-player mindset
- Previous experience in fencing or assembly is a plus, but not required
