Forrest Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Conflicts Specialist to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring the firm minimizes risk and adheres to ethical and business-related conflict of interest policies. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, have strong research and analytical skills, and possess excellent communication abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct time-sensitive, thorough research and data analysis relating to the firm’s new business, lateral hires, and other special projects to identify potential conflicts of interest and minimize risk.
- Prepare reports and research summaries for attorney review.
- Collaborate with attorneys, practice assistants, and team members to ensure accuracy and completeness of conflict reports and due diligence processes.
- Perform additional records-related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Provide back-up reception coverage during lunches and emergency situations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of corporate or law firm work experience; experience in conflicts analysis is preferred.
- Strong analytical and deductive reasoning skills.
- Excellent database and internet research capabilities, with solid overall computer proficiency.
- Prior experience with Aderant and iManage is preferred.
- Familiarity with legal terminology and conflicts of interest rules is a plus.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and accurately with attorneys and administrative staff.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members to ensure superior service delivery.
