Key Responsibilities:
- Legal Drafting & Review: Prepare, review, and edit legal documents specifically related to no-fault insurance defense claims.
- Research & Analysis: Conduct detailed legal research to support case strategies and provide actionable insights.
- Client & Colleague Communication: Engage professionally with clients and team members to ensure accuracy and timeliness of all deliverables.
- Compliance & Confidentiality: Manage sensitive information with strict adherence to legal standards and protocols.
- Collaboration: Work effectively with team members to meet project deadlines, without the obligation of managing or leading the team.
Requirements:
- Education: JD required.
- Experience: 3–5 years as an associate at a law firm with robust experience in insurance defense—specifically in no-fault matters.
- Skills:
- Excellent legal writing and research abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and capability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Superior organizational and time management skills.
- Licensure: Familiarity with New York legal processes; NY Bar admission is strongly preferred.
