Job Title: Front Desk & Event Support Specialist

Location: Columbus, OH

Pay Rate: $21.00 - $21.50 per hour

Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday - Friday)

Position Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and friendly Front Desk & Event Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a welcoming experience as you greet and escort them. You will assist with setting up and breaking down meetings, provide basic audio-visual support, help organize in-office events, order catering, and create a positive experience for both guests and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.

Escort guests to meeting rooms and other locations as needed.

Set up and break down conference rooms for meetings and events, ensuring all materials and equipment are ready.

Provide basic audio-visual support, ensuring the equipment functions properly during meetings.

Assist with in-office events, including coordination, catering orders, and logistical support.

Order and manage catering for meetings and events, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and meeting areas.

Contribute to a positive atmosphere that enhances client and guest experiences.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in front desk or hospitality roles preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to multitask and handle a variety of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Basic understanding of audio-visual equipment and meeting setup.

Professional appearance and a positive attitude.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
