We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Paralegal to support a well-established AmLaw 200 firm. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience supporting various immigration matters, with a primary focus on L1A petitions. This role also involves handling PERMs, H1Bs, E2s, and EB5 cases. The candidate must demonstrate excellent organizational abilities, strong communication skills, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Location: Remote (will provide equipment)
Schedule: 9-5
Duration: Starting minimum 5-month contract, temp to perm possibility.
Salary: $30-34/hr
Years of experience: 6 need someone who can come in and hit the ground running; can't train too
much.

- Immigration knowledge- looking for support on the following Immigration matter types: L1A, Perms, H1Bs, E2s, and EB5. The immediate need is L1As.
- Time management- Ability to manage numerous attorneys and conflicting deadlines, organized and confident in their abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- L1A Visa Petitions: Manage and prepare all necessary documentation for L1A visa applications, including gathering required evidence, drafting support letters, and ensuring compliance with USCIS regulations.
- PERM Labor Certifications: Assist in the preparation and filing of PERM applications, ensuring all documentation and forms are complete and accurate.
- H1B Visa Applications: Support the preparation and filing of H1B petitions, including gathering required documentation and responding to Requests for Evidence (RFEs) when necessary.
- E2 Visa Applications: Handle the preparation and submission of E2 investor visa applications, ensuring all investment documentation and business plans are thoroughly reviewed and accurate.
- EB5 Immigrant Investor Program: Assist with the preparation and filing of EB5 petitions, including compiling comprehensive investment and business documentation.
- Client Communication: Act as a point of contact for clients, providing updates on case status, answering questions, and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Document Management: Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is up-todate and easily accessible for review by attorneys and other team members.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct legal research on immigration laws, regulations, and policies to support case preparation and provide informed advice to clients.
- Compliance: Ensure all applications and filings comply with current immigration laws and policies, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in immigration regulations.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to immigration attorneys, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and assisting with other clerical tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field. Paralegal certification preferred.
- Experience: 6 years of relevant experience minimum, ideally as a paralegal, or legal assistant with significant experience in L1A visa petitions. Experience with PERMs, H1Bs, E2s, and EB5s is also required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint), Internet research skills, document management systems, and attorney time entry software
