What are the responsibilities and job description for the Temporary Legal Immigration Administrator position at Forrest Solutions?
Responsibilities :
- Provide administrative support to attorneys handling immigration matters, including employment-based and family-based petitions, naturalization, asylum, and other immigration processes.
- Prepare, proofread, and edit legal documents such as petitions (H1B, EB5), applications (PERM, L1A, E2 investor), affidavits, and correspondence to government agencies (USCIS, ICE, EOIR, DOS, etc.).
- Maintain and organize case files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with immigration regulations and firm policies.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of immigration applications, including assembling supporting documentation and ensuring timely submission.
- Monitor deadlines and case progress, managing attorney calendars and scheduling client meetings.
- Communicate with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders regarding case status, documentation requests, and general inquiries.
- Conduct research on immigration laws, policies, and procedures as needed.
- Coordinate billing and timekeeping activities, preparing invoices and tracking attorney billable hours.
- Handle administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, answering phone calls, managing emails, processing mail, and other clerical duties.
