Job Title: Applications Specialist – (Infor Nexus)

I am partnered with a global retail brand on their search for an Applications Specialist (Infor Nexus). The successful candidate will partner with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and technical resources to lead the design, implementation, and long-term management Logistics & Sourcing applications, especially Infor Nexus. You will be responsible for overseeing expansion & further integration of the Infor Nexus platform with SAP and several additional logistics & transportation visibility platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Provide IT leadership for Sourcing & Logistics Application teams. This includes support for initiatives, relationships with both internal and external parties, and providing expertise and counsel.
- Serve as support escalation point for Info Nexus as needed.
- Drive continuous improvement & additional automation
- Set scope and delivery expectations with business partners, product teams and customers.
- Drive further integration & configuration of Infor Nexus to provide comprehensive, timely supply chain visibility from factory to warehouses.
- Drive data quality initiatives around transportation, logistics & product data
- Support assessment of additional capabilities such as Map & Trace in support of emerging ESG requirements
- Contribute to improvements around QA/QC solutions
- Remove obstacles, close gaps and manage and mitigate risks to ensure delivery on time, on budget and with impeccable quality.
Qualifications:
- Experience in delivering IT solutions across sourcing, logistics and order management solutions for global retail/wholesale companies.
- Significant experience with implementation of Infor Nexus for a global supply chain operation.
- Experience with additional sourcing, logistics & supply chain applications like Inspectorio, Trinium, Terminal49 or similar.
- B2B/EDI integration, preferably in an SAP environment
- Experience integrating with 3PLs, WMS solutions.
- Experience with Supply Chain Reporting & Analytics/BI tools a plus.
- Significant experience building and managing technical application teams.
- Some experience with supply chain planning & transportation management solutions.
- Strong organizational and planning skills and the ability to agile teams and/or projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect and organize data and summarize findings and develop conclusions and recommendations.
- Ability to thrive in rapidly advancing, changing, and delivery-focused environments.
- Experience with both waterfall and agile/iterative delivery methods.
