The E-Commerce Manager will oversee all aspects of an online store, including functionality, product listings, digital marketing campaigns, sales funnels, and customer experience, with the primary goal of driving online sales and maximizing revenue through strategic planning, analysis, and optimization of the digital customer journey.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive e-commerce strategies aligned with company goals, including product selection, pricing, promotions, and marketing campaigns
- Oversee the design, functionality, and user experience of the online store, ensuring a seamless customer journey
- Manage product listings, descriptions, images, and ensure accurate information is displayed on the website
- Lead digital marketing efforts including SEO and content marketing to drive traffic and conversions
- Monitor sales performance, analyze customer data, identify trends, and generate reports to identify areas for improvement
- Implement A/B testing and other optimization techniques to improve conversion rates on the website
- Manage customer inquiries and resolve issues related to online orders and website functionality
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory levels and timely order fulfillment
- Stay updated on the latest e-commerce technologies and platforms, recommending and implementing new tools to enhance the online shopping experience
- Lead and manage a team of e-commerce specialists including designers, developers, marketing professionals, and customer service representatives
- Mobile Commerce: Lead the development of mobile commerce strategies and features to enhance the mobile shopping experience and capture the growing segment of mobile shoppers
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, and operations teams to align efforts, gather insights, and ensure consistent messaging across channels
- Performance Metrics: Define and monitor key performance metrics related to e-commerce, such as revenue, conversion rates, average order value, and customer retention. Use data to drive product optimizations and enhancements
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior product managers, providing leadership and fostering their professional growth. Lead cross-functional teams with a collaborative and results-oriented approach
Job Requirements:
- Proficiency in e-commerce platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in e-commerce management, with a proven track record of delivering successful online shopping experiences.
- In-depth knowledge of e-commerce best practices, user experience design, and conversion optimization strategies.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, payment gateways, and third-party integrations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Intermediate experience with GA4
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
- Project management skills to execute initiatives on time and within budget
- Knowledge of relevant legal and compliance issues related to online sale
- Experience with website analytics tools such as Google Analytics
- Proficient in HTML and CSS
- Understanding of website design principles and user experience (UX)
