About us : We are a wild caught seafood market & southern fried seafood restaurant located in the eastern neighborhood of Winston Salem, NC. We are one of the only black & female led fresh seafood markets in the state that has direct roots to the Eastern NC fisherman communities. The fresh market carries over 20 types of local whole fish that we display on our original ice counter where guests can pick out their fish for our fish butchers to clean to order. The other entity of the business is our Eastern NC southern fried restaurant where local seafood is fried to crispy perfection and served with our famous homemade coleslaw, hush puppies, and other chef specialties.

Responsibilities
- Direct customer interaction: Ensure guests have a positive experience by directly interacting with them throughout their visit. Not limited to fulfilling orders and order taking with customers.
- Staff supervision: Manage and supervise all front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders.
- Maintaining standards: Responsible for upholding the establishment's service standards, ensuring consistent quality in guest interactions.
- Problem-solving: Quickly identify and resolve any issues that may arise during service to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Leadership skills: Effectively lead and motivate their team to provide exceptional service.
Willingness to assist in all stations in the front of house, such as registers, dining room, curbside, & call in customers.
Demonstrate a positive and servant's heart attitude with every customer and team interaction.
Serve guests with eye contact, smile, speak enthusiastically, and stay connected. Take orders with speed and accuracy using registers at the front counter or handhelds for phone orders.
Ensure product quality and consistency. Assist upper leadership in completing daily checklists. Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items. Complete all assigned tasks efficiently and effectively.
Be available for scheduling on PRIORITY DAYS: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
Management Qualifications & Performance Expectations
- Available on the PRIORITY DAYS: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
- Must be customer service orientated, problem solver, display a positive personality
- Demonstrate 5 years customer services experience.
- Demonstrate experience with using POS technology.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Serve Safe certification (within designated timeframe).
- Great customer service skills.
- Always media ready and in uniform.
- Excellent communication skills (face-to-face and telephone).
- Coordinate the front-of-the-house activities.
- Flexibility and willingness to learn.
- Forsyth Seafood Brand Ambassador.
- Qualify for Forsyth Seafood's Novant/Forsyth Medical Restaurant location.
