What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technology Coach position at Fort Bend Christian Academy?
Fort Bend Christian Academy is accepting applications for a Technology Coach. Successful candidates will have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience and have a strong understanding of technology integration and quality instruction. This is an exempt position and has a 12-month work schedule. The Technology Coach will report to the Director of Information Technology.

Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Provide technology integration support for individual teachers, and grade-level and department teams.
- Provide classroom instructional support for teachers through co-teaching, modeling, providing feedback, co-planning, and developing resources.
- Build awareness and generate enthusiasm for technology resources.
- Utilize and model technology integration strategies to support differentiation.
- Provide differentiated professional growth opportunities for faculty.
- Build trusting, one-to-one relationships with faculty.
- Assist in assessing and tracking technology skill levels of students and teachers and use the data to develop a professional development plan for school staff.
- Be visible and available within the buildings.
- Work with the Director of Curriculum and faculty to review, train, and align classroom technology with curriculum and sequence integration and alignment.
- Stay abreast of current technology trends, teaching strategies, and educational best practices.
- Assess and provide input for technology resource purchases based on faculty input.
- Communicate with all campus stakeholders, including regular presentations to the Academic Leadership team.
Evaluation: Will be conducted yearly by the Director of Information Technology
