Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Justice System Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing court documents, preparing and filing case materials, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
The Justice System Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Document Preparation: Preparing and filing case materials, including pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Customer Service: Providing exceptional service to customers, both in person and over the phone, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Data Entry: Accurately entering data into our database system, ensuring seamless access to information for justice courts.
- Training and Development: Participating in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in case management and legal administration.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of experience in a legal administrative setting, preferably within a justice of the peace court.
- Excellent computer skills, with a minimum typing speed of 35 WPM.
- Strong research, organizational, and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with the public, employees, and elected officials.
