Overall Job Description:
Manage, train and oversee the assigned departments and staff. Job requires a self starter, self manager and someone who see task through to completion. You should have working knowledge of retail sales floor security to combat shoplifting. You will need to have an above average set of customer service skills that include how to handle difficult customers. If you thrive in a team setting and you can be the team member that everyone respects this will be an easy job. You must have excellent communications skills, both written and oral. You will need to be proficient with computers, Windows Office and keyboarding skills. Most importantly you must want to see the company thrive and succeed.
Duties:
- Manage and Train Sales Staff
- Oversee the proper handling of Merchandise
- Maintain Inventory Levels
- Assign and manage the cleaning & organization departments
- Work directly with customers to close & increase sales
- Open and Close the business (turn-key)
- Sales floor merchandising and displays
- Organize sales floor and store room areas
Requirements & Skills:
- High school or GED or higher education
- 3 to 5 years of retail store management
- College education desired but not required
- Firm understanding of MS Outlook & MS Office
- Above average written and verbal communications skills
