Pilates Reformer Instructor

RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES

• Apply your enthusiasm to connect with members, understanding their unique needs, and prescribing the perfect fitness solution tailored to their goals.Build a strong fitness community by being attentive and engaged in every group session or class, ensuring a positive and motivating experience for all participants.
• Use your excellent communication and teaching skills to motivate individuals of all fitness levels, ensuring everyone feels included and supported.
• Foster member retention and drive client acquisition through your engaging personality and dedication to delivering an exceptional fitness experience.
• Provide a world-class fitness experience to all club members and guests, helping them meet their goals in a positive and welcoming environment.
• Plan and lead energizing and motivating 45-minute Pilates Reformer classes.
• Plan and provide private and semi-private sessions, when members are interested, tailored to their specific needs.
• Provide subbing support when available, maintaining consistency in the class schedule.
• Accurately and consistently use company software to track teaching schedules, manage subbing requests, view class rosters, and record attendance.
• Maintain basic awareness of the point-of-sale system for billing purposes.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be outgoing, energetic, and physically capable of teaching Pilates Reformer.
• At least one year of experience teaching Pilates Reformer.
• Current CPR and AED certification or the ability to obtain certification within the first 60 days of hire and maintain it thereafter.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to operate efficiently in a team environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates positive leadership.
• Self-motivated and eager to serve both the membership and fellow department heads.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems, handle multiple duties under pressure, and work flexible hours as required, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Positive attitude, team player, and professional appearance in all situations.
• Must exemplify the highest standards of honesty and integrity.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS

• Ability to move independently throughout the Clubhouse and property.
• Manual dexterity to use computers and technology effectively.
• Must have sufficient hearing and speaking abilities to communicate clearly with members, guests, and co-workers.
• Bending, squatting, lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 30 lbs. or more, along with constant standing, turning, and walking.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

• Group Classes are paid by the class and start at $33/class. Private Sessions are paid at a commission rate of 60%.
