What are the responsibilities and job description for the Public Area Cleaner position at Fort De Soto Hospitality, LLC?
Fort De Soto Hospitality operates a variety of concessions and rentals in the park, located in Pinellas County. We're looking for energetic team members that will play a vital role in providing guests an enjoyable experience while visiting the park. From kayak and bike rentals, snacks, beach supplies and souvenirs, we are the premium park vendor. The beachy atmosphere promotes a fun and ideal workspace immersed in the natural beauty of the park and surrounding waters.
Monday - Friday shifts!!
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize public restrooms and other common areas.
- Clean and disinfect public restroom facilities including toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, floors, walls, and doors.
- Refill supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels, and sanitary products.
- Empty and clean trash bins regularly.
- Monitor restrooms and property throughout the shift to ensure cleanliness and address any issues promptly.
- Report damages, maintenance needs, or vandalism to the supervisor immediately.
Position Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Dependable to always be on time and on schedule
- Able to lift frequently up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs. Position also involves frequent bending, twisting, lifting and squatting and up to 8 hours per day on feet in a fast paced environment.
Education and Experience:
- Experience: One (1) year of housekeeping and/or similar experience preferred
