Fort De Soto Hospitality operates a variety of concessions and rentals in the park, located in Pinellas County. We're looking for energetic team members that will play a vital role in providing guests an enjoyable experience while visiting the park. From kayak and bike rentals, snacks, beach supplies and souvenirs, we are the premium park vendor. The beachy atmosphere promotes a fun and ideal workspace immersed in the natural beauty of the park and surrounding waters.
Summary of Position:

- Responsible and accountable for the successful operation of the Retail spaces, ensuring sales goals are met, inventory levels are appropriate, receiving is handled in a timely and accurate manner and all customer service standards are met in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Effective and timely training, coaching and mentoring of all retail staff members to improve skills and quality of customer service.
- This position will have direct reports.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership within the retail and receiving environment to maintain the consistent delivery of excellent products & services and uphold the highest level of guest and employee satisfaction
- Provide timely and accurate financial retail reports, on a weekly basis, for senior management that clearly explain the operational effectiveness, trends and forecasts
- Ensure all retail staff are trained
- Correctly receiving merchandise in POS system
- Correctly labelling incoming merchandise
- Maintain merchandise displays according to company standards, maximizing performance
- Manage and maintain back stock, keeping the area clean and organized
Position Requirements:
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to perform with the highest professional and ethical standards
- Must possess strong leadership and managerial skills that include the ability to coach, develop and clearly communicate expectations
- Must have excellent analytical and problem resolution skills with the ability to proactively recommend solutions
- Intermediate computer skills and Microsoft Office and familiarity with POS system functionality
- Excellent customer service and people skills
- Majority of time will be spent on feet in a fast-paced environment, in close proximity to other people
- Position involves frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and lifting 25 lbs. frequently, 50 lbs. occasionally
Knowledge and Experience:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years successful retail sales supervisor
