Job Description
Job Title : Registered Nurse
Job Specialty : Labor and Delivery Nurse, Obstetrics RN
Job Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : 12-hour shifts, must be flexible; includes weekends and holidays. Both day and night shift coverage.
Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week
Experience : Minimum of 5 years of recent experience in labor and delivery nursing is required. Must have experience with L&D, post-partum rooms, and care for mothers and babies.
License : Active RN license
Certifications :
- American Heart Association BLS
- ACLS or ALSO
- AWHONN Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) required (RNC-EFM may substitute for AWHONN FHM)
Must-Have : Candidates must be ready to float to other departments if qualified, and may occasionally assume charge nurse duties after completing charge nurse training.
