Job Title : Nursing Professional
Job Specialty : Psychiatric Adolescent
Job Duration : 13 Weeks
Shift : 12-hour shift; will be assigned upon arrival but must be flexible to work other shifts as needed.
Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours
Experience : Minimum of 5 years
License : Active nursing license
Certifications : American Heart Association BLS; ACLS preferred
Must-Have : Active Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI), Crisis Prevention (CPI), MANDT, or TEAM certification
Job Description :
- Work in an inpatient adolescent psychiatric unit.
- Be flexible to work assigned shifts upon arrival and float to other departments as needed.
- Tasks while floating can include taking a patient load if experienced / competent or assisting with answering call lights and phones.
- Must cover holiday periods as required.
- Responsible for working in a 50-149 bed unit.
- Must use RPMS EMR system effectively.
- Participate in orientation, which occurs on Mondays.
- Be open to occasionally taking on charge responsibilities without additional pay.
