Qualifications:
Licensure, Certification, Registration, etc.: Must have Registered Nurse license in the State of Texas. BLS required.
Special Skills, Knowledge: Possesses leadership qualities and is motivated. Demonstrates knowledge and competence in area of Medical/Surgical nursing theory and practices. Demonstrates knowledge of nursing and moral ethics. Exhibits the ability to plan and complete work effectively. Exhibits creativity and innovativeness or willingness to implement creative and/or innovative ideas of others. Demonstrates competence in written and verbal communication. Must pass the NCB (Nurse Career Battery) test to be considered for employment.
Education: Graduate of a state approved school of professional nursing practice. Maintains current licensure in the State of Texas. Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree preferred.
