Position: Groundskeeper
Department: Hotel Facilities
Reports To: Facilities Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:
- Grounds Maintenance: Perform day-to-day maintenance activities, including mowing, trimming, trash removal, and snow/ice removal.
- Safety and Cleanliness: Ensure the cleanliness of parking lots and monitor facility entrances during adverse weather conditions.
- General Labor: Perform general manual labor associated with building services functions and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Sprinkler System: Learn and maintain the sprinkler system, fixing sprinklers as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred; must obtain within 6 months of employment.
- Experience: Previous experience in grounds maintenance or related field preferred.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Certificates and Licenses: Must maintain a valid Driver’s License and qualify for Fleet Management coverage.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 80 pounds regularly and up to 125 pounds occasionally.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and talk or hear.
Work Environment:
- Primarily outdoor work with exposure to various weather conditions.
- Frequent exposure to wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, high places, fumes, and risk of electrical shock.
