Purpose
The Instructional Coordinator works in collaboration with the Dean of Instruction to assist faculty with the use of educational technology and institutional systems. The Instructional Coordinator recommends best practice in teaching and content delivery using the latest in educational technology. The instructional coordinator provides individualized assistance to faculty with regards to institutional systems.
Minimum Qualifications
Masters Degree preferred
Higher Education background and experience preferred
Experience in curriculum maintenance and development
Interpersonal skills
Human Relations / Public Relations skills
Program Improvement / Effectiveness
Positive leadership skills

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and
fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work
Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 pounds
May require some travel
Indoors, environmentally controlled
Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time
Occasional stress due to deadlines and / or dealing with unpleasant or angry people
Job Duties
Essential Functions
Regular attendance and timeliness
Researches best practices utilizing educational technology
Recommends educational technology and applications for teaching
Assist faculty in implementation of instructional technology
Assist faculty with institutional systems
Assist faculty with program assessment
Works with faculty on the implementation of instructional best practices
Assist faculty with curriculum development utilizing the WIDS program
Work directly with faculty on the development of effective grading practices
Assist in planning internal professional development opportunities
Assist with the development of new faculty orientation
Maintains a good working relationship with faculty on both campuses
Review relevant areas of the website and recommend changes to your supervisor
Demonstrate a daily commitment to NCK Techs Mission, Vision, and Values
Other duties as assigned by the Dean of Instruction or the President
