What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hospitalist position at Fort Healthcare Inc?
Fort HealthCare-Fort Memorial Hospital in Fort Atkinson, WI, is seeking a full-time Hospitalist to join our well-established hospital medicine program consisting of 3 full-time employed Hospitalists, 1 hospitalist APNP, and 3 long-term, part-time independent contractors. This group of experienced physicians have worked together for many years in a collegial environment.
The work schedule is 12 hour shifts, 7 on 7 off, and our full-time is 14.3 shifts per month. We take care of all medical patients and are involved with most surgical patients either as admitting or consulting physician. Our Hospitalists manage all the intensive care unit and ventilator patients in our 4-bed intensive care unit. No procedures are required but those who have procedural skills can continue to do them.
