Responsibilities of this position include:
- Knowledge in the nursing process (assess, diagnosis, plan, implement, evaluate) and follows through with interventions. Develops and carries out plan of care for patients and utilizes appropriate resources.
- Visually observes and interprets alterations in physiological and psychological status of all patients.
- Provides holistic nursing care to patients that incorporates family involvement.
- Reports alterations in conditions promptly and immediately to physician/family of acuity and patient's status.
- Documents care provided and data elements in the patient's medical record.
- Collaborates with members of the medical staff to provide quality patient care.
Requirements of this position include:
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree
- Ability to effectively communicate with care team, patient and family members.
- Current RN license to practice in the State of Wisconsin upon hire; BLS (required); ACLS, PALS, NRP certification (if applicable to specialty area).
