What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outpatient Psychotherapist position at Fort HealthCare?
Fort HealthCare Behavioral Health Clinic seeks a full-time Outpatient Psychotherapist who can provide evidence-based clinical services in an outpatient clinical setting. Preferred candidate who has training or experience working with child/adolescent population.
- Conducts comprehensive psychosocial assessments, formulates, and monitors individual treatment plans/interventions.
- Uses evidence-based therapeutic treatment modalities for individual, family, or couples therapy.
- Provides crisis intervention/safety planning as needed.
- Prepares timely clinical documentation in electronic medical record in accordance with policies and regulatory standards.
- Actively participates in multi-disciplinary clinical collaboration and consultation within Fort Healthcare and/or community providers.
- Maintains caseload as assigned; case management or aftercare planning as needed.
- Provides community education, outreach and performance improvement activities as requested.
Scheduled Hours: Monday – Friday: Day Shift
Requirements: Education: Masters in Social Work or Counseling degree. Licensed Clinical Social Worker license issued by state of Wisconsin or Professional Counselor licensed issued by state of Wisconsin or Marriage and Family Therapist license issued by state of Wisconsin. 1 year of experience in providing therapy in a behavioral health setting.
