Position Overview
Fort Larned USD 495 is looking for a dedicated and energetic Physical Education Teacher for grades 6-8 at Larned Middle School for the 2025-26 school year. This teacher will plan and lead engaging PE lessons that promote fitness, teamwork, and healthy habits.
This position may also include overseeing the weights program and providing strength and conditioning training for students.
Qualifications
- Valid Kansas teaching license with the appropriate Physical Education endorsement.
- Ability to create and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate physical activities.
- Effective classroom management and the ability to motivate students.
- Experience or willingness to oversee a weights/strength training program is preferred but not required.
