Elementary School Secretary (2025/26 School Year)
The ideal candidate will have a minimum 2-year Associates Degree or above, with a High School Diploma or GED being the minimum requirement. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work well with colleagues and children.
- Utilize technology to create correspondence, reports, notices, and newsletters.
- Maintain attendance logs, substitute teacher documentation, and filing systems.
- Process requisitions for instructional materials and classroom supplies.
- Request, receive, and process student records.
- Communicate effectively, including answering phone calls and responding to requests for information.
- Welcome visitors, determine their needs, and direct them to the proper person.
- Supervise attendance collection, maintain daily attendance sheets, and provide attendance information to guidance counselors and the principal.
- Maintain financial records, calculate cash receipt summaries, and assist with coordinating meetings.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
