Hours : 7 hours per day Pay Rate : $11.75 per hour

Workdays : Days are prorated for the remainder of the school year

Qualifications : The qualified applicant must have a minimum of a high school diploma or grade level equivalent diploma (GED).

The qualified applicant must also have one of the following :

  • Completed two years of study at an institution of higher education;or
  • Obtained an associate's(or higher)degree;or
  • ObtainedvoluntarycertificationthroughtheBoardofEducationalExaminers ;or
  • ObtainedanNCRC(National Career Readiness Certificate,Bronze Level)

Requirements Include But Not Limited To :

  • Establish a supportive, compassionate and working relationship with student, staff and others contacted in the course of work
  • Assist teachers and students in a variety of settings, including, but not limited to classrooms, small groups, and potential one-on-one situations
  • Maintain confidentiality of information regarding students, employees, families and others
  • Mandatory CPI training and other required state and district training
  • Supervise and maintain discipline on the playground, in the lunchroom, classroom, and in traffic congested areas
  • Must have a basic understanding of math, reading, writing skills, computer skills
  • Ability to follow the directions of numerous teachers
  • Attend work regularly and promptly- FMCSD employee attendance expectation is 95%
  • Other duties as assigned
