POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen, coolers, and storage rooms. Responsible for preparing menu items in accordance with set standards and specifications.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:
Provides exceptional guest service to both external and internal guests by maintaining and exhibiting the We-Ko-Pa Way Service Standards: Smile and Greet, name, and Meet, Thank You and Goodbye.
Must be able to work a station on the kitchen line to prepare made to order items. This includes all restaurant menu items to include steaks, seafood, sandwiches, pasta, and all other menu items required by We-Ko-Pa Grille specifications.
Responsible to maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized area at all times.
Responsible for maintaining all food quality standards with regards to food safety, time/temperature control.
Must have working knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, recipes and the ability to prepare them according to the set standards and specifications.
Must ensure quality and specific presentation for each dish consistent with the We-Ko-Pa Grille standard.
Must demonstrate fiscal responsibility by limiting the amount of waste.
Assist in stocking and rotation of inventory as it arrives and ensuring invoices are accurate.
Must have knowledge and understanding of health department and O.S.H.A. regulations.
ADDDITONAL DUTIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a Food Service Workers License.
Assist in the prepping of food in accordance with set standards.
Hold yourself, your supervisors, and your co-workers to the highest standards.
Work together with management to establish an environment in which everyone is informed and involved.
Know the menu and bar drinks, to include pricing and ingredients.
