POSITION STATUS: Regular Full-Time, FLSA NON-EXEMPT
HOURS PER WEEK: 40
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Must be able to perform basic housekeeping duties such as dusting slot machines, emptying ashtrays and trash receptacles promptly, cleaning tables in the Bingo Hall, cleaning offices, vacuuming, and other duties as assigned. Must be able to monitor bathrooms for cleanliness and paper supply, wipe counters, sinks, toilets, and dispensers. Will be required to remove debris from the floor, sweep, mop, remove and replace trash bags, wipe tables, clean and replace ashtrays, and replace chairs in an orderly fashion.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Must have basic cleaning skills.
Clean up biohazards according to proper procedures.
Shampoo carpet, clean and maintain floors as assigned.
Keeps all equipment properly maintained, clean, and free of marks.
Scrub and extract carpets using proper techniques and equipment including a shampoo machine and carpet extractor machine.
Maintains the highest standards to ensure the quality and cleanliness in the casino, public areas, offices, and other required areas.
Performs other related duties as required.
Must be able to lift more than 50 pounds and push or pull 100.
Must be able to obtain and maintain State/Tribal License (including extensive background check).
Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
WORK CONDITIONS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to:
- Bend, crouch, reach, climb stairs, stand, stoop, twist, and walk for 67-100% of the workday.
- Daily exposure to fumes/odors/oil for 67-100% of workday.
- Work in hot/cold temperatures for 67-100% of the workday.
- Eye/hand coordination and wrist motion for 34-66% of the workday.
- While working on the casino floor, the employee is exposed to high-level noise daily.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Background in housekeeping and cleaning chemicals helpful.
