JOB TITLE: Groundskeeper
DEPARTMENT: We-Ko-Pa Golf Club – Maintenance Department
REPORTS TO: Assistant Course Superintendent
POSITION STATUS: Full Time
Position Description:
Under the general direction of the Golf Course Superintendent and his Assistants, performs maintenance work necessary for the groundskeeping of the golf courses. Work involves initiation, direction, and performance of tasks relating to golf course maintenance; performs related work as required.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Provide exceptional guest service to both external and internal guests by maintaining and exhibiting the We-Ko-Pa Way Service Standards: Smile and Greet, name and Meet, Thank You, and Goodbye.
2. Ability to perform all job tasks related to the Groundskeeper I Job Description at a proficient level.
3. Operate all tractors, implements, and mowing equipment.
4. Knowledge related to the operation of fertilizer and seed spreaders.
5. Basic knowledge and understanding of irrigation practices related to Turfgrass Management
Additional Duties and Qualifications:
1. Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions and specifications.
2. Knowledge of golf course maintenance techniques and proper course conditions.
3. Must be able to maintain cooperative working relationships with other employees and departments.
4. Present a professional image in accordance with FME/FMYN dress/uniform policy.
