Delivery Driver

Fort Mill Flowers is looking for the right person to deliver flowers on a regularly scheduled basis. We are currently closed Saturday and Sunday, but plan to open them as soon as we can. They will be a short day for our store hours and delivery hours may range from a few hours up to a full 8 hours depending on the week. Drivers will be in our vehicle, with routes optimized for efficiency.

Hourly drivers must be 25 years of age or older and have a clean MVR report to be insured.

Summary

As a Delivery Driver, you will be essential in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods while maintaining high standards of customer service. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, your core skills in driving, heavy lifting, and delivery experience will be critical in navigating routes and handling packages. Your premium skills in commercial driving and warehouse experience will enhance operational efficiency. Additionally, relevant skills such as forklift operation and route driving will support our commitment to reliability and excellence in service. Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
• Follow designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
• Assist in warehouse operations, including inventory management and organization.

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 36 per week
