Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree, preferably Accounting/Business major, or with study related to job responsibilities and/or equivalent work experience.
- At least three years of experience in Finance desired, preferably in a governmental
- Extensive computer skills, utilizing Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint),
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem solving may be required to identify issues and assist with creating action plans,

Performance Responsibilities
- Monitor general ledger accounts and related financial activity to ensure allocations are

- Manage cash positions of the school district, including posting deposits, transfers from

- File monthly sales tax reporting and record payments to general ledger. Reconcile liability
- Set up, review and maintain capital project accounts for all bond funds.
- Manage Arbiter online system for monthly postings, balancing, and funds replenishment related to middle school and high school sports activities for officials pay.
- Reconcile and post general ledger activity for District Bank of America purchasing card
- Collaborate with Transportation Department regarding school field trip activity and record
- Order/Maintain and schedule Technology updates for school credit card machines and wireless terminals. Set up new merchant accounts for new schools and obtain credit card machines.
- File SDAC report with the South Carolina Department of Education quarterly.
- Perform rollforward of general ledger at end of fiscal year.
- Manage Unclaimed Property reporting to State of South Carolina Treasurer’s Office.
- Prepare a variety of written materials (e.g., reports, journal entries, budget transfers,

- Coordinates with Finance Department staff for the purpose of completing projects efficiently.
- Assists auditors (e.g., external auditors, auditors from other agencies) for the purpose of
