Elementary or middle level math certification required

Responsibilities
Performance Responsibilities:
- Models effective instructional strategies for teachers
- Facilitates study groups in the area of math for the faculty
- Trains teachers in data analysis and using data to differentiate math instruction
- Coaches and mentors colleagues in the area of math
- Works with teachers to ensure that research-based math programs are implemented
- Leads and supports math grade level and vertical teams
- Participates in student intervention team meetings
- Provides model lessons as requested by other teachers or the principal
- Supports teachers in the implementation of math standards
- Facilitates professional learning opportunities as directed by the principal
- Participates in professional learning workshops and conferences
- Provides guidance on effective tiered math intervention
- Delivers math interventions to students when needed
- Assists with the collection of data and the analysis of data for school improvement
- Assists in the implementation of the district and school Strategic Plan as needed
- Completes reports and paperwork as required
- Collaborates with other math coaches, lead teachers and district staff
- Performs other duties and assumes other responsibilities as directed by the principal
