MECHANICAL ENGINEER
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer experienced in rotating and static equipment who is interested in an opportunity with a leader in the oil and gas industry. - Engineering and design of of rotating and static equipment to include: compressors, turbines, pumps, cryogenic storage tanks, buffer tanks, exchangers, cooling towers, refrigeration units, air separation units (ASU), etc.
- Identify equipment risks and define and monitor mitigation actions
- Project execution; technical monitoring of machine packages
- Participate in problem solving in design, manufacturing, installation, startup and operation phases
Responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Knowledge in mechanical thermodynamics, static equipment, mechanical integrity, inspections.
- Previous EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) expertise
- Knowledge of technical standards to include API, ASME, ISO, ANSI, TEMA, CGA
- Able to interpret and understand process flow diagrams (PFD's, and P&ID's) and Process and Instrumentation Diagrams to verify the design and installation meets codes, standards, and requirements for projects
- Experience in cryogenic technologies is a plus.
