Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Geriatric Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing and personal care for residents at Fort Washington Healthcare Center, a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality resident care in accordance with our standards and regulations.
- Work effectively with team members to ensure that work is accomplished and quality care is delivered.
- Manage resources available to them in their job while focusing on delivering quality resident care.
Requirements:
- Certification as a Geriatric Nurse Aide through the Maryland Board of Nursing.
- Graduate of an approved Nurse Aide Training Program or eligible to enter such a program and graduate and pass a state test within 120 days from date of employment.
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Prior work/life experiences involving independent decision making.
- Prior experience in a healthcare environment is desirable.
