We are recruiting for Geriatric Nursing Assistants (GNAs) to join our team at Fort Washington Healthcare Center, a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies.
New Rates and Benefits
New rates up to $22 per hour based on experience. Full-time, part-time, and every other weekend positions available on all shifts.

About the Role
The position of Geriatric Nursing Assistant exists to provide routine nursing and personal care for residents, ensuring the highest degree of quality resident care is maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide routine nursing and personal care for residents
- Work effectively with team members to ensure quality care is delivered
- Manage resources to achieve goals and support team members
Qualifications and Experience
To be eligible for this role, you must have:
- A Geriatric Nurse Aide Certification through the Maryland Board of Nursing
- A graduate of an approved Nurse Aide Training Program or be eligible to enter such a program and graduate and pass a state test within 120 days from date of employment
- A high school graduate or G.E.D. equivalent
- Prior work/life experiences involving independent decision making
- Prior experience in a healthcare environment is desirable
