Cake Decorator Position
Are you creative with cakes and love to help others foster their own creativity? Fort Wayne Country Club (FWCC) has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Full-Time Cake Decorator to join our Bakery Department.
We have a high demand for custom specialty cakes for all events and occasions, from children’s birthday parties to weddings and everything in between.
Candidate must be dedicated to understanding and exceeding our members’ expectations by producing quality cakes and bakery items.
We are only looking for experienced cake decorators, please include photos of your work with your resume.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Use freehand techniques as well as kits and tools to decorate cakes and other baked goods according to orders and events.
· Ability to work independently, as well as to accept and follow directions.
· Fulfill bakery orders in a timely manner.
· Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing bakery area.
Qualifications & Skills:
· 2-3 years prior experience decorating specialty cakes in a professional bakery.
· Creativity and familiarity with decorating tools and techniques is a must!
· Able to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
· Excellent time-management skills.
· Ability to stand for long lengths of time.
· Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 20 pounds.
