Applications are being accepted for a full-time Director of Capital Projects and Facilities to lead the construction, maintenance, and horticulture functions of the Zoo.
Responsibilities: The Director of Capital Projects and Facilities directs all capital and major improvement projects by actively participating in project planning, development, management, and execution with members of the leadership team, key stakeholders, and external design professionals. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, design, or related field; five years of construction, engineering, project management, or related field experience; three years of supervisory experience; and direct experience working in various software packages including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, and Adobe Design Suite are required. SharePoint, Sketch-up, AutoCAD, REVIT, and other BIM software application experience is preferred.
Benefits: This is a full-time, exempt position requiring availability for at least a 40-hour work week year-round.
