What are the responsibilities and job description for the Branch Lead - Downtown position at Fort Worth Community Credit Union?
Work Hours: Monday-Friday 7:15 am-4:00 pm and two Saturdays per month 8:30 am-12:30 pm. Please note that the Downtown location is closed on Saturdays; therefore, the work location for Saturdays will be at one of our 9 other locations.
Summary: Under the supervision of the AVP - Branch Operations, the Branch Lead will be responsible for the overall operation of the Downtown Branch, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and achievement of branch goals.
The main responsibilities of the Branch Lead position include service as an Financial Services Representative (assisting members with account and lending needs); managing branch staff to maximize productivity and efficiency; training, motivating, coaching, and counseling branch staff; assisting with staff performance appraisals; ensuring that member requests, questions, and concerns are promptly resolved, in accordance with our mission; serving as a Teller as needed; balancing, replenishing, and maintaining security of the vault and ATM; and preparing reports as needed, including month-end management reports.
Requirements: Candidate must have 1-3 years of recent financial institution experience; credit union experience is desirable. Outstanding member service and staff leadership skills are essential for this position, including the ability to communicate effectively with tact and professionalism. Additional requirements include knowledge of basic office functions: IT skills (maneuvering around Windows, browser-based applications, email), strong time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
