What are the responsibilities and job description for the Float Financial Services Representative position at Fort Worth Community Credit Union?
Work hours: The typical schedule for this position is Monday - Thursday 8:45am -5:30pm, Friday 8:45am - 6:30pm, and 2 Saturdays a month 8:30am - 12:30pm. (Alternate Monday – Friday shifts of 7:30am - 4:30pm or 9:30am - 6:15pm may be required depending on the daily assignment.)
Summary: The Float FSR position is based at our Headquarters office, but normally works at any of our 10 offices as necessary to meet staffing needs. If the location assigned is any office other than HQ, mileage reimbursement is available as provided by company policy. The primary responsibilities of the FSR position include opening accounts, establishing IRAs, issuing debit cards, handling member inquiries, wires, and transfers, assisting with home banking and bill pay issues, and cross-selling the credit union's products and services. FSRs also providing general lending services to members, including taking loan applications, preparing loans for credit approval and disbursal, and communicating lending decisions to members.
Requirements: Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year recent financial institution experience. Previous credit union experience with XP2 and/or Meridian Link is desirable. Outstanding customer service skills are essential for this position, including the ability to communicate effectively with tact and professionalism. Additional requirements include knowledge of basic office functions: IT skills (maneuvering around Windows, browser-based applications, email), strong time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) preferred.
