Position Purpose
Coordinates and manages multiple projects and end-to-end migration processes, ensuring successful delivery on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards. Executes and delivers high performing systems and 3rd party integrations, which are production ready to serve district needs. Influences, educates, and drives results in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. Strategically analyzes business and technical challenges and effectively communicates recommendations to senior leadership.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Project Management
- Develops business requirement documents by gathering use-cases and working with Technology and cross-functional teams to build required features.
- Leads initiatives from conception through execution.
- Creates effective program plans including budget, requirements, procurement, implementation, quality assurance, user acceptance testing, training documentation, transition to Customer Support and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Establishes and tracks KPIs to measure program progress and success.
- Prepares detailed release notes and identifies areas needing documentation enhancements.
- Manages trade-offs and makes critical tactical or strategic decisions on behalf of the end-users.
- Monitors the health of the project financials using real-time data (budget vs actuals) to determine if a course correction is needed on a particular project or program.
Collaboration
Collaborates with stakeholders to define and execute program goals. Maintains effective communication and engagement with stakeholders throughout the program lifecycle, identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks to program success.Distills complex information into clear and concise content for stakeholder groups.Collaborates closely with Technology team on release scope, considering team capacity, business roadmap, and any backlog.Streamlines and communicates any interdependencies with partner teams, ensuring all components move forward cohesively.Implements effective change management strategies and tactics to support projects, minimizing disruption and ensuring stakeholder buy-in.Centralizes all components of the project financials and provides cross functional teams the means to look at related data.Personal Work Relationships

Education : (See approved combinations of Education & Experience below) Accredited High School diploma, GED, or Texas Certificate of High School Equivalency required; Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university in a related field preferred.Certification / License : PMP, PgMP, CSM or other relevant certifications preferred.Experience : 4-8 years’ experience in end-to-end management of programs or projects.Approved combinations :
