Description
The Executive Sales Representative is responsible for developing and implementing a plan for maximizing net sales of Forte Bio-Pharma products. The Executive Sales Representative will conduct their business with key targeted healthcare providers and work closely with specialty pharmacies.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Meet and/or exceed sales goals.
- Analyze territory data and past relationships with customers to optimize a call plan.
- Utilize product knowledge and selling skills to influence HCP prescribing habits and grow the territory prescription volume/net sales.
- Educate HCPs and staff on the specialty pharmacy model.
- Develop a business plan to optimize the use of key resources and funds for in-office meals.
- Complete all administrative responsibilities as directed by management. Successfully complete all Sales Training requirements.
- Perform all Forte BioPharma business in accordance with all regulations and Forte BioPharma’s policy and procedures.
- Demonstrate high ethical and professional standards with all business contacts.
Qualifications
- Four-year college/university degree
- Previous Pharmaceutical sales experience is required. 3 years of experience preferred.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- At least two years of specialist sales experience calling on Pain clinics/HCPs is preferred.
- Current relationships with Pain clinics/physicians is preferred
- Strong understanding of the Pain Management landscape is preferred.
- Experience working with a specialty pharmacy network is preferred.
- Strong understanding of the payer landscape, and the ability to discuss managed care criteria.
- Experience in the planning and execution of launch and push and pull through strategies for new products.
- Excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and strong planning and organizational skills are required.
- Must be self-motivated and must thrive in an entrepreneurial pharmaceutical sales setting
