Job Description :
Forte Human Capital is seeking highly skilled and licensed Occupational Therapists (OTs) to provide rehabilitative care to veterans at the VA St. Louis Health Care System. This role involves evaluating, planning, and implementing treatment programs to help patients regain mobility, function, and independence . The ideal candidate will be dedicated to improving the quality of life for veterans through patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities :
Evaluate and assess patients' physical and functional conditions to develop individualized treatment plans .
Establish short- and long-term goals that are functionally based and time-limited to support patient progress.
Provide and oversee direct patient care , implementing the most effective therapeutic techniques.
Utilize a variety of rehabilitative interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, and coordination .
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient treatment.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with VA standards.
Ensure compliance with VA, federal, and state regulations for rehabilitative care.
Qualifications :
Licensure : Must hold a current, full, and unrestricted license as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in any U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia.
Candidates with license restrictions, suspensions, revocations, or voluntary withdrawals will not be considered.
Experience in goal-driven rehabilitation plans and direct patient care.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
