- Assess doors to determine repair or replacement of the door
- Complete repair/reskin, log reskin and label door per ship date stamp
- Confirm repair meets industry quality standards
- Complete reject reporting sheet and enter in computer system
- Accurately enter adjustments for materials used in repair process
- Continuous focus on finding defects and visual quality inspection
- High communication within the department
- Follow safety and process procedures
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor/management
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED certificate preferred
- Two years of prior manufacturing experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to read and interpret production tickets.
- Ability to use hand tools; sanders, chisels, bondo, sandpaper, etc.
- Ability to work with repair materials; wood putty, hot glue, paints, stains.
- Knowledge of door construction, skin species and colors preferred
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Forklift knowledge and safety procedures preferred
- Ability to lift to 75 lbs.
