**This is a Part-Time position: Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday**
Warehouse/Shipping/Receiving personnel are responsible for storing and staging materials and for tracking all materials that enter and leave the warehouse to minimize the time in which it takes personnel to locate the correct materials. They are also responsible for preparing materials for transport to other locations and receiving shipments delivered to the loading dock to ensure maintenance of accurate records.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Unloading, stacking, palletizing, storing, and loading materials and products according to predetermined sequence to minimize repetitive work
- Filling requisitions, work orders, and requests for items and materials, being sure to weigh or count items prior to release, to ensure accurate inventory records
- Tracking all incoming and outgoing movement of materials from the warehouse to maintain data accuracy
- Expediting emergency deliveries within the plant and to the dock to ensure that schedules are met
- Operating powered and nonpowered equipment in a safe manner to move/distribute materials/product without increasing company liability
- Preparing finished merchandise for shipment, preparing bills of lading, and properly marking shipping containers to ensure the accuracy of accounting and inventory records
Requirements:
- High school education, GED or equivalent, with a solid background in math and recordkeeping
- Forklift certified
- Minor experience in computer usage for retrieving information and entering data
