Plastics:
3rd Shift: Sunday- Wednesday (9:00 PM- 7:00 AM) **Training will occur on 1st shift
Mandatory OT as necessary
Some duties may include:
- Operate Rotational Molding Machines
- Running the machine safely, while producing a quality product
- Set Up and Tear Down of machines as required by instructions
- Maintain familiarity with all product lines, names, usage, tools, fixtures, available colors and types of material
- Inspect tooling for any damage and products for imperfections
- Identify and repair imperfections using various power tools
- Proper handling and care of tools used
- Understand Setup Sheets, Bills of Materials, and Production reporting procedures
- Follow instructions from supervisor and other management team members
Requirements:
- Ability to maintain excellent safety and attendance records
- Ability to maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
- Ability to effectively communicate with employees, management, and customers in a courteous manner
- Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule, including overtime
- Ability to understand current processes used
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Ability to understand BOM’s and routings
- Ability to perform shift inspections and preventative maintenance on machine
- Employee will perform duties indoors throughout the non-climate-controlled general production area and occasionally in the office area.
- Employee must continuously remain in a stationary position and be readily able to move throughout the production area.
- Employee must be able to ascend and descend to different levels of the building and equipment
- Employee will frequently need to identify and distinguish colors and determine placement
- Employee will frequently need to inspect equipment or product up close or at a distance
- Employee will occasionally move short distances in the facility during the scheduled shift.
- Employee will frequently move objects from one level to another, up to 50 lbs.
- Employee will frequently move objects, requiring up to 30 lbs. of force.
- Employee will frequently move or transport objects, up to 20 lbs., at or above shoulder level.
- Employee will frequently move and place objects in varying sizes.
- Employee will frequently retrieve or move objects to or away from body.
- Employee will occasionally position oneself to retrieve objects from a lower level.
