Job Summary
Fort is seeking a Full-Time Advanced Practice Provider (PA / NP) to assist a high-volume orthopedic surgeon with clinical patient care responsibilities, specializing in sports medicine, knees and shoulders.
Essential functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.
- Obtains, compiles, and records patient medical data, health history, progress notes, and results of the examination
- Instructs and counsels patients about the prescribed therapeutic regimens
- Assists Orthopedic Surgeon during surgery or complicated medical procedures

- Ambulatory Surgery Center
Physical demands
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Moving patients, lifting and helping patients with needs, lifting and moving heavy x-ray equipment, transporting patients
- Frequently on your feet standing and walking
Travel required
- Travel to the Greenwood, Mooresville and Carmel clinic as needed
Preferred education and experience
- NCCPA Certification
- Valid license with state of Indiana
- Familiarity with EMR systems, NextGen experience helpful but not required
